VINTAGE INDIAN SARI PARASOLS

Panels of vintage embroidered sari fabric are stitched together to create these fabulous, bright umbrellas.

A floral cotton lining finishes the underside of the umbrella. The adjustable bright chrome pole provides support.

BALI UMBRELLA

Each umbrella takes over a week to make, the women weave and stitch the fabric,
the men do the carving.

Bamboo spokes support the heavy woven cotton fabric of the canopy which is decorated with silver painted motifs.

Mother of pearl hearts and assorted beads trim the
edge of the parasol.
